And in just a little while, everyone will know! Why do I say, everyone? Because the solar companies are going to know, the water softener companies are going to know, the alarm companies are going to know, you're going to be getting so much mail from these vendors. They are going to be sending it to you right away. Well, that's because now that you bought a home, you're in public records, and they're going to be trying to sell you something.

In about 6 to 8 weeks, you should be getting your title documents from your title company, and when you get those documents for the title company, you need to put them in a safe place and there is going to be your official deed along with your title documents.

Now, once you get that, now you can go and file a homestead exemption. It's very important to do that before February, file for your homestead before February if you fail to file homestead, it can increase your monthly payment by as much as $60 a month.
