My Mom used to tell me repeatedly to do this and do that, not to do this and not to do that. ALL, I recall, very valuable advice. Looking back on it, I can say she was, and still is, a very wise woman. Time reveals, in fact, just about every caring Mother is a Wise Woman. I can see why we carve out a special day each year to acknowledge Mothers. So here is a shout out to all Mom’s – Happy Mother’s Day!!
And not to be outdone, my Mother’s Birthday is May 16th which somehow seems to fall on or very close to Mother’s Day each year. So, she gets double the hugs and appropriate accolades every May from my Sisters and me.
Unfortunately, My Mom’s Mom is no longer here. I am sure that makes her very sad this time of year. I am sure some reading this can relate and have similar stories. For ALL those whose Mom is no longer with us, may you remember the best about them. In addition to that, there are also many who never knew their Mom due to unfortunate circumstance. I bet someone played that roll in their life and they too deserve a Happy Mother’s Day!
Regardless,we can celebrate this Mother’s Day knowing Moms both here and no longer here are special in more ways than we can count.
Especially the Moms who are sitting right now by their Child’s hospital bed not too far from where I type this…
You may-recall my team and I are on a mission to raise $5,000 for Every Kid Outreach! We do that by donating a portion of our income from home sales by referrals to this very worthy cause.
Every Kid Outreach has a several busloads of kids working and striving to come up with funds for their next retreat. For them and their parents, taxes are not “top of mind”, education is. Learning is. Surviving is. As you may have heard, Every Kid Outreach (EKO) is a Christ-Centered youth organization that will ENGAGE - INSPIRE - CONNECT middle and high school teenagers with programs that provide a fun and safe environment and mentorship devoted to developing community leaders for tomorrow.
This is where we need your help and how you can benefit at the same time…
Charitable contributions are tax deductible to a point. Rather than give your money to the government, you should consider making a donation to a charity. I believe it will somehow come back to you, well beyond a simple tax deduction. A core value at our company is “the size of the hole you give through is directly proportionate to the size of the hole you receive through.”
Either way, your referrals are in good hands and help us contribute to a good cause.
Life moves fast for some and we are eager to make the Home Selling and Buying experience a smooth rewarding one. Over the last two decades of helping thousands of families sell their home and/or buy another, we have met some wonderful, loving, caring people. People like you! So, your referrals, those you know considering a move, that we help – you can rest assured that not only will they get the award-winning service we are known for, but that a solid portion of the income we receive from the transaction will go toward a very worthy cause.
My Mom told me to give all I could, no matter what I was doing. Thanks Mom for that bit of advice! Many years later, I get to repeat it here and do all I can to help you, your referrals and try and help Every Kid Outreach do good work, preparing young people’s lives.
any one you know considering buying or selling a home, friends, neighbors, associates or family members? call me direct at 321-436-5463 or pass my number on to them.
Thank you in advance for the referrals
With all my appreciation.
P.S. The story of this young person enclosed may cause you to look at your loved ones differently. It did me. Check it out
We took 125 students to Southwind Camp in Ocala National Forest for a weekend of fun, fellowshipping, worshipping, singing, dancing, playing outside, laughing, releasing, healing and so much more! This bi-annual trip is a life changing experience for all who attend, and this year was no different. It was an opportunity for students to take a break from the pressures of their everyday lives (and technology!) while gaining a closer relationship with Christ
There is no doubt that our students had an amazing trip to DC and a life changing experience at EKO Camp. These experiences are impacting their lives at such a crucial time. High school students are preparing to make life decisions and plans for postsecondary education, and middle school students are preparing to enter high school and unfamiliar territory. In either situation, thanks to EKO programming, and supporters like YOU, our students are PREPARED and have the tools needed to succeed! Below is a summary of your donations for the first quarter and one of the ways in which you have impacted EKO programming and the lives of our students!
Thank YOU! We look forward to connecting with you soon!
